Déjà vu. This just happened to me yesterday, while watching TV and drinking a coffee and then suddenly my mind just went wait, i think this particular moment already happened? thingy just when you feel you may have been there, done that, experienced it, you may have done that moment but in different place somewhere.
Some scientists believed that a theory of parallel universes that deja vu occurs when the same event occurs in two or more parallel universes, when a person experiences something in this universe that the other you has already experienced in a parallel universe.
Parallel Universe. A very popular topic whether fictional or not. Well, here goes the curiosity kick in.
Here’s what McKay in SGA has to say:
…according to one of many interpretations of quantum theory. I mean, simply put, this interpretation states that, uh, the universe is in fact split into an infinite number of copies of itself in which every possible outcome to every decision ever made all exist somewhere in this infinitely layered multi-universe.
I’m not a physicist or anything but watching too much scifi shows makes you wonder if alternate universe really exist. It’s just surreal to think of this kind of possibility, but can you imagine if for one that how you will be will be different than how your other self in another universe will end up? It sucks to think that if you make a bad decision in this universe the other you makes the opposite one living a perfect life to a perfect universe while you sulking in any possible way how life is so unfair. Maybe the only difference is how we interpret a particular matter in our own hands, we make our own decision, we live through it. It’s just strange…
