First of! My two favorite movie trilogy.
MATRIX TRILOGY
one of the greatest trilogy of all time well alongside LOTR of course. Bow down to those binary code when it comes to NEO and his gang, oh yes he is the ONE.
LOTR (Lord of the Rings Trilogy)
Again the best film in a terrific trilogy based off the books by J.R.R Tolkien in which I still haven’t read of all books. It is an emotionally powerful movie, it brought me to tears when Gandalf fell in a cliff on Fellowship of the Ring, brings glee when Gandalf the Grey return as Gandalf the White on The Two Towers, and appreciation when Aragorn was crowned King.
The X-Files
FIRST FIRST FIRST
This is my first sci-fi shows that I got addicted to, yup I watch it religiously for 9 years plus the two movies of course, my first ship 🙂 oh yes my first fandom! Philes to go!
Stargate TV
My fascination on sci-fi takes its toll on watching stargate series. It’s a spin off from a movie Stargate way back 90’s and when they put it on small screen it’s just way fantastic all those space battles, aliens, military, and stargates are fun to watch and reminisces you to the star trek and star wars’ space battles. Although there are three spin offs namely SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe. I really like the Atlantis version because of the theme itself “Lost city will rise” that’s ancient times, no offence to the SG-1 version which I did watch some episodes of it but not as religiously as Atlantis but I did start watching the SG-1 after Atlantis. *peace*
ANIME TIME
Ghost Fighter(yu yu hakusho)
The anime that I get ga ga to, love the characters, the afterlife story arc and of course the battle between good and evil.
Synopsis
Urameshi Yusuke, 14 years of age, is about as troublesome and violent as teenagers come. He is constantly ditching school, causing trouble, and getting into numerous fights everyday. One day however, he does the unexpected, sacrificing himself to save a young child. Such an action, was never ever expected, especially coming from someone as troublesome as Urameshi Yusuke. The afterlife is not prepared for Yusuke, as they never thought he would make such a sacrifice. Nowhere to go, and dead, Yusuke becomes a ghost and must earn his way back into existence.
Yusuke is “employed” by Koenma, who is in charge while his father and ruler of the afterlife, King Enma, is away. Under Koenma`s command, Yusuke helps to stop menacing demons that threaten the lives of people everywhere; whether by stealing priceless and invaluable items and destructive weapons, or by wreaking havoc on humans everywhere.
Throughout Yusuke`s journey, he is usually joined by; his arch-rival, and local bully, Kuwabara Kazuma. He is also joined by two demons named Hiei and Kurama, whom are ex-convicts of the afterlife that managed to escape from Koenma.
This group of unlikely allies goes on to participate and struggle in battles that have outcomes that determine the fate of humanity!
Yu Yu Hakusho is created by popular mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi, who is also responsible for creating the acclaimed and much-loved series known as Hunter X Hunter. Yu Yu Hakusho also managed to surpass Dragonball Z in ratings during its TV run.

Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin)
Another anime greatness, great sword battles though there are more blood splatter in this anime it’s with a great story, the essence of family-ties, friendship, revenge and whatnot.
Synopsis Himura Kenshin is a vagabond with a dark past and sunny disposition. Not a ronin but a rurouni, he was never a samurai, but an assassin of utmost skill in the Meiji restoration, who in the turning point of the war simply walked away. His travels lead him to Tokyo in the 11th year of the Meiji era, where he befriends a female Kendo master, a former thief, a brawler and a doctor all with their own secrets. Together they fight off the enemies surfacing from the dark past that Kenshin cannot escape.
